General Terms of Reservation

Dear guests,

Welcome and thank you for choosing our apartment for your stay.
We hope you will enjoy the pleasant ambience we have prepared for you with much love.

Communication

For reservations sent directly through our website (putnikexperience.com), standard procedures apply. All other official information regarding reservations and cancellations must be provided in writing.

The official languages of communication are Serbian and English. For faster and easier exchange, our e‑mails may also contain an informal translation into your language, created by an automatic translator, but only the text in the official language is considered legally binding.

House rules for apartment guests

  • Check-in is possible from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Check-out is until 11 a.m.
  • Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment.
  • Please keep the apartment clean during your stay.
  • Please observe quiet hours — no noise between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.
  • Bringing third parties who are not registered in the accommodation is prohibited.
  • Please use the furniture and equipment carefully. Any damage will be charged.
  • Please dispose of garbage regularly in the designated containers.
  • Parties, gatherings and celebrations are prohibited.
  • It is forbidden to use appliances that are not part of the inventory (e.g. heaters, hot plates, etc.).
  • Guests must behave responsibly and not compromise the safety or comfort of other residents of the building.
  • Bringing any psychoactive substances as well as weapons of any kind is strictly prohibited.
  • Do not turn off the water heater or refrigerator when leaving the apartment.
  • Every time you leave the apartment, you must lock it and turn off the air conditioner.

Reservations

  1. All accommodation prices are listed for cash payments and do not include the amount of the tourist tax and the registration of stay.
  2. The guest in whose name the reservation is made must be an adult. The personal data of all guests must be provided at the time of reservation.
  3. All reservations require a non-refundable deposit of 35% of the total amount. Last-minute reservation requests (for a period shorter than 14 days from the date of payment to the arrival date) may have a modified reservation procedure and/or a different deposit amount.
  4. The standard deadline for paying the reservation deposit is 48 hours from sending the proforma invoice with payment instructions.
  5. The primary payment method is a transfer to a bank account or cash. In certain cases, guests may be allowed to pay the deposit by credit card (providing details at their own risk) and via PayPal, WU, RIA or another mutually accepted method by prior agreement.
  6. Regardless of the payment method, all bank fees for the transfer of funds are paid by the sender.
  7. The remaining amount for the reserved accommodation is to be paid by bank transfer no later than 14 days before the start of the stay or, together with the tourist tax, registration of stay and other additional costs, in cash upon arrival.

Reservation procedure

Reservation inquiry

As explained on our website, you can contact us for a reservation inquiry by e‑mail, phone, fax or directly through our website. The basic way to submit a reservation inquiry is by using our website after checking the availability of the accommodation.

Accommodation availability and additional information

All displays of offered capacities and responses to inquiries on our website represent a standard offer covered by the published price list. Discounts, additional and special costs and everything else that is not part of the standard offer, and which may affect the base price, if applicable to the given case, will be specifically stated in the next step of the reservation procedure. After receiving the inquiry, if the requested accommodation is still available at that time, we will respond with additional information related to prices, other costs and the payment procedure, which depends on the specific case.

Required confirmation of the reservation request

To continue the reservation procedure (after receiving additional information from us to the initial inquiry), the guest in whose name the reservation is made must confirm the reservation request (thereby agreeing to the supplementary information and reservation terms) and provide additional data for all guests if this was not done initially (for example: full name and surname, gender, date of birth, contact information).

Payment of the reservation deposit

If, upon receipt of the confirmation of the reservation request, there is still no change in the availability of the requested accommodation, we will send a proforma invoice for the payment of the reservation deposit. This proforma invoice has a defined payment deadline (the standard validity period is 48 hours from the time it is sent by e‑mail) and during that period the requested accommodation will be on hold for payment (temporarily withdrawn from the offer to other potential guests), thus preventing multiple reservations.

Reservation confirmation

Upon receipt of the reservation deposit, a notice to the sender will follow regarding the received amount and the conclusion of the reservation. We can issue a formal Reservation Confirmation (to those who need proof of secured accommodation) if additional guest information is provided: nationality, travel document number (passport or ID card) and other details depending on the case.

Cancellation of reservation

A guest who wishes to cancel the use of already reserved accommodation may request in writing from PUTNIK EXPERIENCE that the reservation be transferred to another person indicated by them (guest substitution) under the same conditions and the same rules for apartment accommodation. Such a request will not be unreasonably refused if received at least 15 days before the start of the stay, and the Reservation Confirmation will be issued to the new guests.

A guest who wishes to cancel the reservation in full and submits such a request in writing at least 15 days before the start of the stay, PUTNIK EXPERIENCE will attempt to reissue the accommodation under the same conditions under which it was originally reserved. In the event that this happens, the original reservation will be canceled and a voucher will be issued in the amount of the payment made up to that point, reduced by 50 Euros (the administrative cost for reissuing the accommodation), which the guest can use for another accommodation reservation in the next 2 years. Alternatively, at the guest’s request, the amount stated in the voucher can be refunded, further reduced by the money transfer fee to the bank account of the guest who originally paid the reservation deposit. In the event that it is not possible to reissue the accommodation under the same conditions, the reservation deposit will be used to cover the difference in price, partially or in full, depending on the case.

In the event of circumstances that could result in the guest being unable to take over the reserved apartment for use, PUTNIK EXPERIENCE will offer the guest alternative accommodation of the same quality or refund the amounts received in connection with the reservation of the apartment in question. PUTNIK EXPERIENCE will not be liable for any other damages the guest may claim on the grounds of the above events.

In the event of force majeure (war, natural disasters, epidemics, etc.), the declaration of temporary emergency measures and events that would lead to the suspension of operations during the period when the guest has reserved accommodation and as a result of which the guest cannot take over or PUTNIK EXPERIENCE cannot provide the reserved accommodation for use, the reservation is postponed and by agreement moved to another period after the cessation of these circumstances. Alternatively, at the guest’s request and if possible, the paid amount can be refunded within a reasonable period after the cessation of these circumstances and the normalization of the operations of PUTNIK EXPERIENCE. Money transfer fees are included in the refunded amount.
